The Ivy Neckpiece reinterprets a contemporary Western silhouette through an expressive, poetic lens. One side features a thick, hand-braided sage cord that wraps around the neck like a sculptural form, bringing weight and structure to the design. In contrast, dozens of fine sage cords cascade from the opposite side in a fluid waterfall, each finished with a matte brass tube that adds subtle definition and movement. At the centre, a hand-cast matte gold ivy leaf brings the two sides together—not simply as a fastening, but as the defining focal point of the piece. Its organic form softens the structured braid and flowing fringe, creating a thoughtful balance of texture and proportion.
