Drawing from ancient dyeing traditions, the Madder Jacket Dress features rich black hues achieved through iron shoes soaked in molasses, and vibrant reds created by gum and alum heated to perfection. This two-piece set combines a sleeveless cotton slip with a voluminous jacket intricately pleated at the bodice and adorned with delicate mustard machine embroidery. Crafted from 33 panels, it flows gracefully, blending Bagru’s Dabbu mud-resist prints and fine embroidery into a silhouette that balances heritage artistry with refined modern elegance. Each detail reflects exceptional craftsmanship and timeless sophistication.
