The Dawn Kaftaan is a fluid expression of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary design, crafted in hand-dyed Ajrakh satin for a rich, luxurious drape. Its striking colour-blocked composition brings together handcrafted Ajrakh across the front with solid satin at the back, creating a considered contrast between intricate pattern and understated simplicity. Adjustable neck ties allow for versatile styling, while the relaxed kaftan silhouette offers effortless movement and comfort. The interplay of artisanal Ajrakh and lustrous satin gives the piece a distinctive character that feels both rooted in tradition and distinctly modern.

Colours on screen

Hand-embroidery and handcrafted details
Slight irregularities in hand-embroidery, weaves, and surface textures are an inherent part of the handcrafting process — not a flaw. Each variation is what makes your piece truly one of a kind.
Natural and AZO-free dyes
Fabrics dyed with natural or AZO-free dyes are produced in batches, which means subtle colour variations between pieces are natural and expected. These dyes may also gently rub, bleed, or soften in shade over time and with wash — a characteristic of conscious, chemical-free dyeing. Seasonal and weather conditions during the dyeing process can also influence the final colour outcome.
Hand-painted and discharge printed garments
Hand-painted designs and discharge printing involve a process where results can vary slightly with temperature and application — no two pieces will be identical. We see this as part of the artistry, not an inconsistency.
Print and artwork placement
In some products, the placement of prints or hand-painted motifs may vary slightly from what is shown. Our designers make considered decisions about fabric use to minimise wastage — but the print, artwork, and design itself will always remain true to what you see on the product page.

My third dress from this designer and I love wearing this on warmer days for a jaunt down to run errands or to meetup a friend over a cup of tea. The material is very comfortable and light cotton. The only downside is that it needs to be worn with a light cotton slip as its a bit see through. Love wearing the dress for sure though.

First time purchase from this designer and I love this casual modern co-ord set. Wore it just this last weekend with friends over to watch the Fifa match and I had to wear yellow to cheer on my team. It was so comfortable on a warm day - not dressy but modern casual with a perfect fit or should i say perfect anti-fit:). Its simple and paired with fuschia statement earrings it was perfect. And being the host the kurta was so comfortable and flowy which made moving between the kitchen and the living room to the dining table super comfy.
