Beardo Weekend Window – A not-to-miss shopping carnival
Allow us to take you through the days when fashion was only magazine-centric. People used to read top journals like Vogue, Filmfare and Elle before heading to shopping stores to get their best buys. There were a few industry giants and fewer had access to all the knowhow of the fashion sphere. This obviously had a direct effect on local level where a conscious consumer had limited sources and lacked a well-organised perspective.
The transformation in the market came when exhibitions ventured in to break the monotony of local shops that catered to very limited audience. But mere an exhibition wasn’t everything. A need was felt for a better shopping experience, something that could offer more than just buying clothes or footwear… And that’s why when Weekend Window came into the picture, people knew what they had been missing until now in Ahmedabad!
Weekend Window was an idea born out of a desire to revive the modern day flea market and appeal to every age group at the same time. Conceptualised by two creative minds Meera Ambasana Shah and Harshit Shah, this one-of-its-kind flea festival was aimed at amalgamating every element of fashion, lifestyle, food and fun on one platform.
It added a twist to the otherwise mundane local events by offering a wealth of attractions from food, music and a lot of fun and frolics in its structure and had that carnival kind of vibe that instantly hit the right chord with Amdavadis.
What started with just 14 exhibitors in its first edition has now expanded to becoming a favourite of almost every label in the cities like Ahemdabad, Surat and Baroda. Termed as the chirpiest flea market, Weekend Window is going to have its 12th edition Beardo Weekend Window at Karnavati Club on 22-24 December this year. Showcasing more than 180 + shopping brands, 25 food brands, kids activities, workshops, entertainment, bands, DJ & Stand Up Comedy, the fiesta is one of the most awaited events in the city.
From unisex apparels, kids wear, fashion jewellery, footwear, bags, home décor accessories, food to music, everything is going to be here. Let’s take a quick glimpse of the major highlights of the event:

4. The cuisine section named Food Belt has been curated by Foodaholics in Ahmedabad that will offer a mouth-watering platter of dishes by Happy Calories, The Baked Connect, The Dark Roast, Flour Power, etc.
Weekend Window is not a new name to city audience anymore. It is emerging as a frontrunner by introducing fresh concepts season by season. While exhibitors look up to Weekend Window as a promising spotlight platform, people find it a perfect destination to let their hair down with loved ones.
