EKASTORIES, conceived and designed by Esha Uppal, is a label that embodies the spirit of eclectic prints and modern silhouettes. Esha became a self-taught mix media digital textile artist through the years after her scholarship winning design education years. The designs and art come from their travel history to different parts of America, Spain, Russia and India including but not limited to Gujarat, Rajasthan, Kolkatta and Kerala. The label essentially uses Cotton Bamberg as the primary cloth, a sustainable yarn. Digital printing saves on energy and water, unlike rotary screens in order to apply new colors, using enormous amounts of water. Excessive use of chemicals and dyes is strictly prohibited.
