Laces, pleats and thread detailing were coming into fashion at the dawn of the dawn of the twentieth century Bengal when blouses begun to come into prominence. Keeping in mind the era, the Charlotte dress is designed with emphasis on the sleeves. Lace, pleats and rose motifs are hand embroidered in kantha on the sleeves. The dress is designed in natural fabrics, indigo jamdani and checks.
